Chapter 150: Fooling Around.

You Zhichi ran up to her brother as soon as he took a step out of the cave. You Xi Wang didn't even have the time to react when he felt a warm embrace surrounding him in the freezing air. He closed his eyes and hugged his sister. He spoke, "You cried again because of me, didn't you?" his voice sounded a little husky as he hugged his sister.

Although he hugged her his body was numb to all sensations. The controlled pain may have increased his endurance but his skin which was as tough as a normal cultivator still suffered from the after-effects. According to the system, it will recover in a week. You Xi Wang raised his head as he hugged his sister and found everyone else standing in the distance. He said, "Okay, stop crying or dad will descend just to kick my ass silly. Think about how I will sit with half a swollen butt." he acted very aggrieved.

It was the truth actually. He never wanted to make his sister worry because of himself. Yet again and again the situation made him fail again and again. His joke made his sister chuckle and she hit his chest with her palm. She said, "What do I do with you? You are still in the mood to joke? Everyone was so worried about you. Well except for the three kids. They came up with this idea to give you a body forging treatment to stimulate your potential." She separated from him and used her hand to sort his hair.

You Xi Wang nodded and said with a smirk, "Looks like my love for the little devils is not wasted."

You Zhichi chuckled when she saw his reaction, he was acting like an old man. She looked behind him and saw a grown-up Maya. She was surprised by how much the fur beauty grew up after one treatment. You Xi Wang followed her gaze, reached out his hand. Maya understood that he wanted to pat her and walked over to him. She rubbed her head on to his palm. You Xi Wang squatted down and rubbed her neck after he pulled her a little closer. He spoke, "Troubled you again, Maya. Sorry."

Maya had grown to the juvenile state and with this, she unlocked her intelligence. She spoke in You Xi Wang's mind, "I am fine, brother Xi Wang. If not for all the tribulations how could I have grown so much in such a short time?" her voice was melodious like a little girl but her mind was that of a teenager. A teenager beast. You Xi Wang was shocked when the voice rang inside his head. His initial shock turned into a pleasant surprise. He smiled brightly and said, "I am lucky to have you, Maya."

Maya replied in his head with a sweet voice, "I am lucky to have you as well, brother Xi Wang."

You Xi Wang was very happy to find that he can now talk with Maya. He stood up and walked up to where everyone else was standing. He first met his grandfather and gave him a hug. Though their relationship was very good, as a tough man Chen Shaoyang never expressed feeling too much. He just smiled and broke the hug. You Xi Wang then greeted Chen Moqian with a formal greeting as that was Chen Moqian's preference. The latter patted him on the back. You Xi Wang stood in front of Chen Longxue and was about to greet him when he saw the latter was going to bow to him. How could You Xi Wang a boy instilled with the values of filial piety accept this bow? Let alone accept the bow how could he let Chen Longxue, his third maternal grandfather to bow to him in the first place?

He hurriedly held Chen Longxue by his shoulders and asked with a squinted eye, "Say third grandpa, do you might be wanting my mother to break my butt with a stick by bowing to me? Don't think that she has left. She still watches over me. I surely cannot let you act like this for the sake of my soft delicate butt." his words made Yuki and You Zhichi chuckle. But the others just smiled and shook their heads. They thought this guy would at least complain but who knew he would joke and involve his mother in it as well? 

Chen Longxue was an upright man throughout his life. He always returned the favors and debts he owed. This time he owed the biggest debt of his life to this boy in front of him, who did not even let him express his gratitude. He felt very lowly in front of this boy. As these thoughts flashed through his mind You Xi Wang spoke, "Third grandpa, did big sis tell you about the battle fest survival round? Just train us all with all you have and don't go easy on us. I will count it as the payment of the debt. Okay? Now can you please stop sulking?" the last sentence had a haughty tone.

Chen Longxue squinted his eyes and smacked the back of You Xi Wang's head. He spoke in a berating tone, "You wait brat, I will spank your butt monkey red for my niece. I still have to ask you about what you said to me at the entrance of the estate." he was about to grab his ear but You Xi Wang ran and hid behind Kelly. He peeked over her shoulder and said, "Third grandma, this old tiger is roaring at your bunny."

Kelly giggled at his antics. You Xi Wang and Chen Longxue would often play a running game among themselves called Tiger and the hare when he used to visit in the past. He was very young at that time and all the elder ladies would call him Bunny as he could often be seen chowing on the sweet carrots with his front teeth. You Xi Wang named Chen Longxue the Old Tiger as he was always chased by him like a hare. She said, "Okay Longxue, let him be. He just came out of the torment and is trying to loosen up the knots in our hearts."

You Xi Wang jumped out from behind her with his hands on his waist, he said, "My third grandma is so smart." he then rested his chin on Kelly's shoulder and looked at Chen Longxue, making faces at him. Chen Longxue finally picked his spirits and sighed. He said, "Kelly, look at this brat, making faces at me."

You Xi Wang said, "Bah, lies grandma all lies." he spoke in a pitiful tone. Kelly was aware that he was making face to her husband but she loved him very much and after what he did for Chen Kong her love multiplied by a thousand times. So just like it used to be in his childhood, she cupped his face with her palm and berated her husband, "Chen Longxue, when will you grow up? Bickering with my baby. He is such a well-mannered kid. Humph, go carry on with your training. See if I make you kneel on the washboard if you bother my Bunny." 

Chen Longxue shook his head and with a sigh and helpless face, he turned to his brothers who were trying to control themselves from laughing. Just when he wanted to say something he heard a voice behind him, "Third grandma, I missed you." it was You Xi Wang who hugged Kelly from the side as he gave her a gift. Kelly smiled and took the gift without any refute. Kelly said, "Only Bunny would bring grandma gifts, unlike someone who can't even remember my birthday. Humph." the lady turned her face to another side when Chen Longxue turned to explain.

You Xi Wang hurried to greet his grandmother and hugged her. He said, "I missed you Moon fairy."

Mu Qingling smiled and hugged him back. She said, "I missed you too Bunny. How do you feel now? Tell me if you have any discomfort?"

You Xi Wang whispered in her ears, "The pain made my skin numb, other than that I am fine. Don't tell anyone, they are already too bothered."

Mu Qingling asked, "Then why to tell me?" she spoke in an amused manner.

You Xi Wang replied, "Never hide anything from your doctor and lawyer." he replied in a sheepish tone causing Mu Qingling to chuckle and slap his shoulder. They broke away from the embrace and You Xi Wang asked, "What gift did big sis gave you?"

You Zhichi came to them and said, "I bought grandma a set of Sunlight jade earrings." she had a smirk on her face. According to her You Xi Wang should not have bought anything that could outvalue these earrings as he was busy all the time.

You Xi Wang gave her a sly smile. This smile made You Zhichi feel uneasy. She thought to herself, 'This brat is too smart. He must have gotten something better than my earrings a long time ago.'

You Xi Wang took out a piece of paper and gave it to Mu Qingling. The elder lady unfolded the paper and exclaimed, "FOR REAL?"

You Xi Wang nodded and said with a proud expression, "Not only one, but I also got you 4. Whose gift is better now grandma?"

Mu Qingling stood there with a surprised expression and said, "Yours, as always Bunny. Xiaochi I told you not to select that Maiden Heart Sutra. See you lost because of it."

You Zhichi was confused about what was written on You Xi Wang's paper slip. She took the paper from her grandmother and she yelled, "This is cheating, brat. You wait I will teach you a lesson now." and instantly she sprang up to beat You Xi Wang who ran ahead of her. Kelly asked, "Eldest sister what gift did Bunny got you this time?"

Mu Qingling pointed her finger at Yuki and said, "He got me 4 granddaughters-in-law." her words surprised Kelly and the other elders and Yuki blushed when she heard this sentence. She quickly squatted down to pat Maya to avoid embarrassment. Mu Qingling spoke excitedly, "We can have a bunch of Great grandkids now. Hahaha..."

The others shook their head after hearing her laughter. This woman was so eager for great-grandkids that if she was not stopped by Chen Limao she would have fixed You Xi Wang's marriage when he was just born. They watched the two siblings running after each other in the distance. The elders were aware that this boy was fooling around to ease the tension they all had inside their hearts.
