Cultivation Struggles of a Lowly Fox

Chapter 113 – Discussion and Irritated Mei

Chapter 113 – Discussion and Irritated Mei

Aiko still stared at that young guy.

"I am the Clothier! How can you forget me, Master?!" He felt so incredibly wronged.

"Bullshit! He was an old bastard!" Aiko retorted.

"I was able to advance in my Cultivation, because of you!" He retorted back.

Aiko slowed down her advances and observed him.

He looked like he was in his mid-twenties. Black hair with blue eyes that were striking. His eyebrows were thin, his lips were large and his nose was sharp, but without a sharp tip.

He had a well-chiselled body and stood tall at around 180-185cm.

The thing was... he didn't have a tail or Fox's ears.

"Master, I already told you that I advanced into the Holy Spirit Beast Rank!" He felt so wronged, yet it didn't dampen the excitement for his newfound strength.

"Shouldn't you like... lose your strength?" Aiko stared at him up and down.

"I did not obtain my Dantian yet, I will have to wait for Sacred Beast Rank." A sense of frustration drifted from him.

"So this is not a real Human Form?" Aiko asked as she observed him.

"No it's still a pseudo body, but I keep my tail and ears hidden since there is not much room inside and I always end up making a mess with them out." He gestured towards a bracelet around his wrist and took it off.

A fluffy tail appeared behind him whirling, knocking things around.

Aiko was startled when the small tornado appeared. His hair colour also changed from black to something very, very light green.

'7/10... no wait!' Aiko blinked a few times. "Stop! You are making a mess!" She frowned at him.

"My apologies..." His large fluffy ears dropped low, before disappearing due to the bracelet.

"Amazing... where can I get such a bracelet?" Aiko asked since she went to the Human Towns... there was a need to taste some good food! Unfortunately, the last time she met Humans, she was captured because of her race. She didn't want to risk a repeat of that.

"You can just ask Peak Elder, since you are going on a mission she should lend you one." The Clothier said slowly, but it looked like he was not entirely sure about this.

Aiko nodded it would be beneficial if she could obtain such a bracelet. "I will do that."

"Right. Here is the outfit, Master." The Clothier kneeled presenting Aiko with the Assassination Uniform.

Aiko smiled happily and stretched her hand only to freeze, a sudden question popped in her mind. 'How did he know what kind of proportions I have?'

She took a step back and observed him.

The Clothier was sweating. 'Surely Master doesn't dislike this outfit?' He glanced at his Master who was staring at him warily.

"Is something the matter, Master?" He asked softly, but his heart quivered. If his Master didn't like this outfit what would he do?!

"How do you know my proportions?" Aiko asked cautiously.

The Clothier sighed in relief that it was not his work that creeped her out.

"The pseudo transformation has very limited body types. Other than your height not much will change between Foxes. There are slight adjustments for the..." *Cough* "Developed Foxes, but other than that there isn't much to adjust." He spoke sincerely not lying to his Master.

Aiko nodded she noticed that pretty much every Fox had an hourglass figure and only their Fox parts and... goodies differed.

Aiko stared at him a bit more before taking the Assassination Uniform into her hands.

It was very soft, pleasing to the touch, but she noticed the Inscription was not completely imbued into the bodysuit and could be removed.

"Why is the Inscription like this?" Aiko asked staring at him, but still pleased about the soft feeling.

"The Inscription Cultivators refused to imbue it with Runes, so I took it upon myself to print a few Runes. They can be removed easily so if you find anyone who is willing to imbue it..." He trailed his words, but his Master understood.

Aiko nodded. "Good, once I have the resources for it, I will Inscribe it."

The Clothier stiffened. "Master is an Inscription Cultivator?" He asked with wide eyes.

"Yes." Aiko nodded. "Master with a Black Token at that." Aiko smiled proudly leaving the Clothier completely speechless.

"You are amazing Master!" He praised his Master with sincerity since he couldn't bear those old prideful fools who would always rip him off or introduce questionable Inscriptions upon the bodysuits.

"Of course." Aiko puffed her small chest with pride and asked him. "By the way, what is this made out of? It's much softer than anything inside this place."

The last time Aiko was here she touched many of those pieces of clothing, but none were as soft and pleasing to the touch as what she was holding.

"That is Spider thread from the Nightmare Spider." He replied with pride and a smile on his face.

"Nightmare Spider thread?" Aiko tilted her head, she didn't quite like the name.

"This thread is very durable and black in colour by nature, so I didn't need to dye it. This also means that even if you use [Clean] or wash it, it will never lose colour!" He smiled. "And to add to that, if someone tried to restrain you there is a chance they could experience a brief nightmare giving Master an opening to escape or even slay the restrainer."

"Ohhhhh." Aiko nodded, she didn't like the name, but she did like the effects.

"Thank you for the Assassination Uniform, do I have to pay anything or...?" Aiko asked, while she did like this bodysuit, she didn't like the idea of owing him a favour.

"Master doesn't need to pay! Inspiration is enough for this lowly one!" He bowed.

"Then I will support you." Aiko placed a couple of hundred Spirit Stones which were placed in the Storage Pouches, leaving her with exactly 200,000 Spirit Stones.

He stared at his nonchalant Master who just pulled several hundred Spirit Stones in front of him and his mind blanked. This was more than enough to pay for those threads ten times over, as Spirit Stones were incredibly rare on this continent.

"I thank Master, from the bottom of my heart!" He prostrated himself and bowed several times.

Aiko was uncomfortable at this display but didn't say anything as she was more interested in the bodysuit.

"Then I will be going." Aiko smiled she wanted to test this bodysuit as soon as possible.

"Do you need my help, Master?" He smiled innocently but shrunk back once Aiko glared at him.

She stormed outside leaving him alone.

"Alas, Master has such fiery temperament." He shook his head. "But..." He stared at the littered Spirit Stones. "I should clean them up as soon as possible lest someone tries to steal them!" He was really happy he had a wealthy Master. He didn't regret this decision at all!

...

Aiko arrived at Grandmaster's Abode.

"You are back?" Mei stared at the happy Aiko. "Were those panties that good?" Mei teased Aiko.

Aiko pouted. "Shush! I'm just here to put on my Assassination Uniform."

Mei's expression darkened. 'I told those old bastards not to give her those slutty clothes.'

Aiko brushed the new Assassination Uniform when she felt a gaze from Mei.

"What's wrong?" Aiko asked seeing the strange expression on Mei's face.

"You don't have to wear that." Mei said gently.

"That's too bad, but I have already spent too much time coming up with this design and bullshitting my way out of that questionable one." Aiko shook her head, since she already 'negotiated' this kind of outfit she would naturally use it.

Mei was shocked and observed the outfit again. 'It's made out of Nightmare Spider Silk?!' She was greatly shocked as that material was rather rare, and precious.

She kept staring at Aiko who was trying to dress up, but it felt strange...

'Where are the detachable parts? Why is it so loose?' Her mind couldn't comprehend it when it clicked for her. 'Did she say she designed this one?' Mei couldn't believe it.

"Do you need help?" Mei asked amused and the one leg hopping Aiko.

"I'm fine, ugh!" Aiko was struggling, but she wouldn't allow Mei to get close. Firstly because she had her own pride and believed she could put it on by herself and secondly she didn't believe that Mei wouldn't rub it in her face each and every time she tried to wear clothes.

Mei didn't say anything as she enjoyed the show of Aiko rolling around trying to get inside the Assassination Uniform.

...

3 hours later.

"Got it!" Aiko triumphantly raised her fists, but she felt strange.

"You are wearing it the wrong way." Mei pointed at the obvious and Aiko blushed.

"No way!" She tried to retort, but once she noticed the hoodie which was supposed to be on her back was in front of her... she just blushed and avoided Mei's amused expression.

"Should I help you?" Mei smiled teasingly.

"No!" Aiko pouted, she didn't want to be teased like this...

"I will help you." Mei smiled staring at the retreating Aiko.

"You don't need to!" Aiko stepped back until she stumbled, but she didn't hit the ground as she was suspended in the air.

"Huh? Huh?" Aiko flailed her body as she was very unfamiliar with this situation.

"Stop or I will drop you." Mei threatened as what Aiko was doing drained her greatly.

"Then drop me!" Aiko protested and wiggled even more.

Mei came closer with a mischievous smile and whispered into Aiko's ear. "Then should I kiss you?"

Aiko immediately stiffened as that voice tickled her ear. Her mouth almost immediately crossed into the 'x' symbol and she was dead quiet.

Mei felt both amused and annoyed. 'What's so wrong about a kiss from me?' She was slightly hurt by Aiko's reaction and vowed to tease her more in the future until she accepted her.

Mei fiddled with the Assassination Uniform. It was slightly difficult even for her as it was a single piece, but she also appreciated the fact that it had a lot more room than those Assassination Uniforms she saw on the other assassins.

It took her about half an hour to dress Aiko properly. She felt both satisfied and annoyed. 'I don't like the fact that the middle part is a bodysuit.' For some reason, Mei hated the sight of Aiko's body in a tight bodysuit... or maybe that others would see it?

Mei shook her head as she was distracted.

"Agh!" Aiko was dropped to the ground, which startled both of them.

Aiko looked like she was wronged and before Mei could say anything she stormed outside.

"Well..." Mei frowned, she was suddenly even more irritated than before, but she just couldn't put her finger on it.

...

Aiko rushed back to the Shadows Peak to meet the Peak Elder.

She wasn't stopped as she tried to use her Abilities to the fullest bypassing almost everyone.

"Peak Elder!" Aiko barged into the room as she was too excited. This Assassination Uniform did not only improve her stealth capabilities but also her Abilities.

Aiko stiffened. She remembered what happened the last time and she immediately closed the door.

The Peak Elder was amused by the little Vicious Cub's antics and glanced at Sect Leader. "Come in."

"Peak Elder!" Aiko barged in again but paused once she saw Sect Leader. "Sect Leader." Aiko politely simulated the cupped fists as greetings.

Sect Leader felt good about this, but the Peak Elder had quite a few black lines on her forehead.

"What do you need." Her previous good mood was ruined in a single moment...
