Chapter 123: Bloom's Brilliant Plan!

Chapter 123: Bloom's Brilliant Plan!

He watched them move far and when they reached their place, he started to glance freely at the front. "C'mon, what takes you so long," he muttered while waiting for them to appear.

He wouldn't act right away, as he needed to make this a sudden move. "Where are they now?" he sent to Nara, who replied in moments; "five minutes."

"That's convenient," he muttered before saying: "Shade doppelganger festival!"

The next moment thirteen of his shades appeared. He whispered something to them and the next moment each one went in a different direction.

"Is he going to use the same trick to clear the way? Shouldn't he let them fight the monsters and lose a couple of members?" Jeffrey complained, yet Nara didn't answer.

She knew Bloom's mind was much more complicated than that! "I think we are going to witness history today," she said this and paused, while those around her knew what she meant, yet didn't believe it.

She stole a glance back to each one of them; she knew them for years! Many came from families that worked for her family, and even some were raised with her!

'Sigh, that Bloom is really able to make me restless,' she returned to glance at the front while muttering to herself. She glanced at the messages sent to her before she sent to Bloom.

"One minute."

"This is going to be an interesting fight," he said to himself in a very excited tone. He didn't take his swords out, and no one had noticed something wrong here.

The next minute a group of players appeared coming from the village direction. They stood in one line, a hundred, glaring at Bloom who stood on the other end waiting for them.

The scene seemed to freeze here for a period of time, yet the tension kept escalating to a terrifying level. "They are strong," he commended, but he wasn't demoted by this.

Instead his desire to kill them burnt even more!

Without saying a single word, the group of these players moved in unison. They then started to rearrange themselves in smaller groups, each was formed of twenty players.

"The famous five lotus formation, that's a bad sign," Jeffrey exclaimed in a depressed tone.

"It seems they are already aware of his reputation, and are taking them seriously," Nara said while her eyes noticed something missing. "Where are his clones?"

This question she asked made everyone around her speechless for a moment, before they realized the mind trick Bloom did here.

"Did he intentionally do this trick?" she thought to herself, "or was it just a mere coincidence?" she felt she wasn't dealing with a youth few years younger than her, but with a sly big man.

As for Bloom, he was standing there calm watching the five groups starting to kill their way towards him. They followed the same approach Nara and her team used before, yet he had to admit. "They are very experienced!"

They were using their weapons like they were extensions to their arms. Even those staff holders seemed quite professional in their timely healing and skill usage. "I can't spot a single weakness in any of them," he shook his head, feeling their reputation wasn't overestimated at all!

They reached midway, crossing the distance between the crowded monsters without losing a single member so far! They received damage, yet this damage wasn't enough to kill any of them. Plus "They have the same OP potions like Panty and his elite five guards, sigh!"

He noticed more than once the potions used in times to replenish the depleted Mp or Hp. "I wish one day to have a team like this," he glanced at them with envious eyes, knowing it was impossible for him to make them his men.

"Now!" he softly muttered, and like a spell the world started to rumble after his words!

From three directions a large group of monsters were running fast towards here. This scene startled everyone, and without any time to think; the monsters already were upon them!

Bloom was near the hill, so he simply and carefree climbed it to oversee everything. The entire world was now filled with hordes of monsters, running angrily with their might after thirteen dark silhouettes.

"Aren't those" Jeffrey muttered in surprise, before turning his gaze towards Bloom. He wasn't alone to do so, as Nara also fixated her gaze upon him. "He did the mind trick on purpose," she softly muttered, and her eyes shone with admiration.

For Bloom he wasn't stressed at all. Even if he was killed right here, he would only lose a single level, and a couple of items.

He put a single target in front of his eyes; to test the strength and assess the real danger of these mercenaries.

He was pretty sure he would face them when dealing with Panty's quest. So, if there was no hope for him to overcome these, he would think of another way to ruin this quest.

"Let's see how you are going to deal with this tide," he smirked as the number of monsters were larger than ever.

He sent his clones to three directions, asked them to start gathering monsters from everywhere they could reach, and be here in around five minutes.

They did what he asked them, and like treasure chests for players, monsters were furiously hunting them.

"Retreating? Is this the answer?" he noticed one of them left his hand and issued a signal of retreat. "As if I would allow you to run away," he laughed before sending a simple message to Nara.

"Make the resurrected players stand on the tree line, cutting their retreat path."

His message made Nara skeptical, yet she sent it to the team standing not far from here. "Their numbers, experience, and levels aren't in their favor!" she sent this to him, waiting for him to change his rushed decision.

"Just make them stand there, on the edge exactly, doing nothing else."

His answer made her more doubtful, yet she relayed the orders by the letter. "Are you sure? These boys have just lost a level! Losing another will be hard to compensate so soon!"

"Don't worry."

His short reply was sent to her before closing the chat and standing there enjoying the show.

What others didn't know was that the tree line and this wilderness were considered two different zones; meaning that no one in any zone could attack any player in the other zone.

Also there was a single info he read in the manual and didn't take much interest in it.

"Players must cross the border to be safe," he muttered as he watched his team players appearing on the tree line, standing on the edge of it.

"You arranged yourselves in five group, tsk, this isn't a smart move, hehehe."

He was really enjoying this show from the hill. As everyone standing here were waiting for the simple and most undeniable fact of the weaker, fewer, and less experienced players to be killed in no time; a shocking scene occurred!

"Boom!"

"Boom!"

"Boom!"

.

.

"Boom!"

"Boom!"

"Boom!"

Each single player tried to force his or her way through his player shield line and was instantly hit with a loud bang, flying ten meters at least in the air before rolling in the ground for more than that!

For those standing far and watching, it appeared like a gigantic monster was hidden there and decided to attack any single player of the one hundred in such a vicious way!

And that wasn't everything!

"-20k" "-20k" "-20k" "-20k" "-20k" "-20k"

One hundred minus twenty thousand damage points appeared on top of their heads, taking away roughly half of their Hp!

"That's really OP! they have forty thousand Hp! That's cheating!" he shouted in discontent, like a game fan nagging at a play he didn't like!

And his shout just added more fun to the scene, making it so much hilarious!

"They are going to kill him for real now," Jeffrey didn't know if he should laugh or cry, yet Nara just laughed from the bottom of her heart. "This Bloom he is really something," she said amidst her laughs.

As for those who were sent flying on the ground, once heard his loud tone they felt much humiliated. "Rise up and kill him!" one of them angrily shouted, seeming to be their boss.

Just as they all stood up and started to take out their Hp potions, the monsters already reached them!

They weren't the target of the monsters; Bloom's clones were. However unlike each time they would stay motionless waiting for the monsters to kill, they started running around.

They didn't stop at a single point, yet they made sure to surround the players with a huge circle of monsters, cutting the way for them to retreat to the tree line from different directions.

"Let's see who will win, your well trained mercenaries, or the huge tide of game monsters, hehehe!" he laughed, and his laughs echoed in the entire region, making every single player inside the circle glare at him.

And the next moments his clones kept dying without resisting , as they already did their job.

By the disappearance of the clones, the monsters sat their eyes on the next favorite target; players!
