Chapter 125: Finally Using the Skill!

Chapter 125: Finally Using the Skill!

These sudden attacks came to surprise him. "Weren't they all of them? They are some rats here?"

Despite this damage, he wasn't worried. Yet this exposed his place to the enemy, and the next moment he discovered that the skill time was already over.

"Sigh, that's why they could aim directly at me," he muttered to himself, as he was totally immersed in attacking and totally forgot about his skill duration.

"Stab, stab, stab, stab," he used four more stabs to kill the other staff holder with no suspense at all.

"Dash piercer."

He didn't wait there anymore, as he was sure more attacks would fall on him from these assassins. Just as he moved, he noticed the presence of a strange glow around him, pointing out to five players.

"My inverted Lu stat," he muttered as he understood what was going on. "Great, I can now see them," he smirked as he landed heavily on one of the four stunned staff holders, adding more time to her stun, with fifteen thousand damage appearing on top of her head.

"Stab, stab, stab, stab" he started using only his stab skill, while he kept his vigilance towards the five shadows coming hot at his back.

"Time to kill you, stab, slice, stab," he moved around the body of the second stunned staff holder, as the first one didn't last more than two stabs from him.

As he got his posture modified, he perfectly was seeing them now. "They move close to each other, yet not that close to be attacked as a group, tsk," he knew from such a mere glance how experienced they were.

Yet he had the perfect counter for them.

He took out one Hp potion before gulping it in one go. As they closed up at him, he feigned ignorance and kept attacking the stunned staff holder, almost killing her.

"Come, come, closer, that's good," he smirked before muttering, "darkness rebound."

The skills of his Gored chest plate weren't that much used by him; yet he knew they were priceless. He refrained from overusing them so he would have trump cards against his avid enemies.

Such as these ones here!

The moment he activated the skill, he focused entirely on the girl in front of him, and in three hits he managed to bottom her down.

"-3000"

"-2500"

"-3000"

As he killed her, his head also had a row of negative figures coming up his head. He smirked and went directly towards the next one, totally neglecting those assassins like they were nothing.

"Stab, slice, stab, stab, slice, stab, stab, slice," he used slice to change his position every time he got attacked by more than three attacks. In between he took one Hp potion again to replenish his Hp, while his enemies were fervently attacking him while an equal damage appeared on top of their heads.

Ten seconds later, his skill lasted that much and he used Hp potions during them, and killed one staff holder before everyone stunned with his skills regained their activity again.

And this time, he was really in great danger.

"Should I resign myself to lose a level?" he thought to himself, yet he found this outcome to be unsatisfying for him. "No, I should send a clear message to them, I can't die here."

He decided to use his final card, the one he kept holding all this time without using.

As everyone was trying to hit him, and his movement started to be quite challenging with all of these attacks, he muttered: "Fog of gravity!"

The moment he activated the skill, fog started to dissipate around his body, rapidly covering a fifty meter radius, making everyone freeze for one second.

"Activate the stored skill of darkness absorption."

"System alert: Tempest of lightning sword skill is activated. Player can pay a price of a hundred gold coins to store it again. Player can pay a price of a thousand gold coins to add the skill to his skill tree with a discharge of fifty percent of its initial cost to unlock."

Bloom didn't know what to say. "Can I pay ten thousand gold coins and add it directly to my activated skill?" he laughed while his sword moved on his own towards the sky, in a move similar to the one that cavalry used before.

This skill he gained when he hijacked the caravan. He stored it and kept it unused all this time, waiting for its appropriate time.

And now was the ripe hour to use it!

"System alert: Player prestige as a shadow bandit is low, so player can't learn the skill permanently for now."

The answer startled Bloom, yet he hurried to say: "Then I choose to store it for later."

"System alert: One thousand gold coins deducted, player can use the skill during the next twenty four hours."

All this happened in mere seconds. The moment the players were freed from the stun skill Bloom used, they all felt how special the skill he was now activating.

Their information about him never showed up such a strong skill. They became vigilant, and as if they received a unified command, they all took out one Hp potion and gulped it without any hesitation.

"Wanting to make your Hp as full as possible, plus gaining help from the Hp addition for every second? Nice strategy, yet I doubt you can survive this attack of mine."

Bloom wasn't overconfident. Per his experience as a swordsman, he knew how special this skill was. This wasn't a normal skill for such a level of players. He was pretty sure this skill would only be unlocked for players at level fifty.

Just before they could throw their empty bottles to the ground, the skill was finally activated. Bloom felt a throbbing pain at his arm holding the sword. "Indeed even my strength can't bear to do this skill," he sighed yet he didn't move his arm down and kept the sword pointed to the sky.

Then a clamor of swords appeared out of nowhere, in company with a violent wind covered with a cloud of dust.

The wind hit the area around him in one hundred meter radius. The attack fell upon everyone, and Bloom realized something; he was also getting some of the attacks as well!

"Damn! Shouldn't I be safe?" he cursed as he hurried to take out Hp bottle and waited.

He couldn't use the potion while fighting, or amidst of using a skill. He had his Hp slowly decreasing, not much like the others around him who were unlucky to gain the full throttle of his attack.

For him, every one second he would lose one thousand Hp. Making him not that worried at all. "But I should be cautious, I dunno how long this skill would last or it would be enough to kill them all," he thought to himself before glancing at the area around.

Everything was covered in the thick veil of dust, carried over by the great violent wind. The clamor of swords never ceased for a moment, and this brutal skill continued for fifteen seconds.

"Good, even the highest quality Hp potion would only last for five seconds. If they tried to take another potion, then they would waste one to two seconds trying to raise their hands against the winds."

He was trying to think of their situation, while he lost around twenty thousand Hp points during this time; he was sure they must have lost double at least.

"I bet none remained alive," he chuckled while grabbing the potion in his hand. The resistance he felt from his arm was now wearing away. "So it lasts for twenty seconds then?" he thought to himself, while finally gulping the Hp potion when the skill ended.

"Die you bastard!"

The moment he raised the bottle and emptied its content in his throat, this angry vengeful shout came suddenly from his back!

"Cling!"

"10000."

"-5000"

Yet he was Bloom! At this moment, his reaction speed was faster than his mind or feelings! The moment he heard the sound, his other sword was used, unsheathed using the talent he rarely used, and finally muttering:

"Stab, ground breaker!"

Two skills were used, one aimed at nothing, while the second was activated and made his sword move like lightning to parry the long curved dagger of his attacker!

Bloom suffered a loss, yet his enemy suffered more! "You are still alive?" Bloom sneered as his body turned forcibly by the skill effect to face one of the assassins.

He wasn't looking majestic as before; his hair was disheveled, and his body had marks of swords and wounds. His armor was now bent in the center, almost rendered useless now to use.

Yet his eyes showed no signs of surrender or defeat! He was a man who believed in his own victory to the last moment!

"Dash!"

Bloom knew how risky his opponent was, so the next moment he activated his stun skill, yet the opponent suddenly vanished in thin air!

"Having Lu stat more than my inverted Lu stat? you are really a monster!" Bloom muttered to himself before glancing all over around him.

All players here were dead, all except for that annoying assassin. "Having an invincibility skill? Amazing, I commend you for that!" Bloom shouted out loud, with a mocking tone. "Yet you managed to save only yourself, leaving all your comrades to die and lose a level, what a shame, tsk," he added, trying to instigate this player to show himself and attack.

Yet this player was really cool headed, calmly watching him without taking a single word he said to his heart.
