Chapter 157: Good News from all sides.

The battle between You Xi Wang and Ward ended. The speech about the change made some disciples in the Chen family feel their blood boiling, and they all left for practice. You Xi Wang took his team to the stands where the elders were sitting. Chen Longxue looked at the tired expression of the team, but their eyes were shining. He said, "Okay, I allow you all a day of rest."

The team cheered in excitement. Finally, they can sleep in a soft bed and eat a good meal. No worries about the sneak attacks. You Xi Wang spoke, "You guys have worked hard. Let's rest first."

The team heard this and dispersed. You Xi Wang saw two little figures running at him but he did not react. The two figures were Lily and Celestia. You Xi Wang bent down to pick them up in both his arms, one left and one right, and spoke, "How have you guys been? Also, where is Jojo?"

Lily spoke, "Xixi, Jojo went back to granny Mu's lab to continue reading. We will also go later." these past few days the kids have been diligently learning in Mu Qingling's lab and personal study. They only came out today to watch You Xi Wang battle the team by himself. They were sure of his victory, but they wanted to witness it by themselves. Celestia spoke, "Big brother, those guns are so cool. I will ask big sister Fenny to make me one in pink color when I grow up." her eyes were filled with sparkles more than usual. You Zhichi and Yuki stayed behind and found this little girl too cute at this moment while You Xi Wang was stuck between laughter and tears. He imagined a killer with pink-colored guns. 

He shook his head and said, "Ok, little fairy, you don't think about weapons now. Go with Lily and get Jojo out of the lab. We will have a meal together. Then how about we ice skate? There is a big ice rink in the mansion."

The two girls nodded. You Xi Wang put them down, and they two ran holding each other's hand. Everyone unconsciously smiled when they saw this. Maya's voice sounded in You Xi Wang's mind, "Brother Xi Wang, can you put off the array from my siblings? They are restless to talk with the others."

You Xi Wang heard this and slapped his forehead. He came to the wolf cubs and undid the formation on them. The wolf cubs rushed over to meet their friends. Yuki, Fenny, Allan, and Neo were shocked. It was to an extent where they all stood frozen in their spots and You Xi Wang took this opportunity to take a picture of their silly expressions and shared it on the Metro frame. You Xi Wang turned and said to his grandmother, "Moon Fairy, let's click a picture together? I will post it on Metro frame. The people would get to see what a great beaut my grandmother is."

Mu Qingling liked his sweet honey-words and agreed to take a picture with him. She also followed her grandson on Metro frame. They both took dozens of pictures in all angles and various poses with filters on the faces. The two people dragged the other elders, and they gradually ended up starting a spree of clicks and flix. It was only after half an hour did they all stop. You Xi Wang excused himself by the 'I have some office work to deal with.' and slipped into the room he had in his grandparent's villa. 

You Xi Wang closed the door and the first thing he did was to call Alester Book. The call connected and the old man appeared in front of You Xi Wang. Alester Book spoke, "What made you call me, Xiao Wang?" this old man understood his disciple's character. You Xi Wang had never called him unless it was very important. That's why the question. 

You Xi Wang spoke, "Master, I want to ask you something."

Alester Book smiled and said, "Go on, what do you want to ask?"

You Xi Wang spoke, "Master, is Animus the mentalist your master?"

Alester Book was surprised to find out that his disciple knows about his master. He nodded and said, "Master is cultivating in the mountains. I don't think he came out of his seclusion. How did You know about My master's identity?"

You Xi Wang spoke, "I entered a mental prison array in the Chen family. The array had a divine sense strand left inside by Grandmaster. After I passed the array he interacted with me and passed on his array comprehension to me."

Alester Book was surprised. His voice rose a few decibels, "WHAT?" after an exaggerated shout he calmed down. He came back to his senses, feeling slightly embarrassed to losing his composure in front of his disciple. He then continued, "You are very lucky Xiao Wang, your grandmaster is a very eccentric person. I tell you he was a riot in his days. You know why he is called the Mentalist, right?"

You Xi Wang spoke with a smile, "I know Master, but I couldn't even thank him. The knowledge he passed down, burst in my brain and I was lost in digesting it when Grandmaster left. So please help me convey my gratitude the next time you contact him, please."

Alester Book nodded in satisfaction when he saw his disciple being filial. You Xi Wang spoke, "Master, the knowledge grandmaster passed down to me will take a long time for me to digest as it is very extensive. At this moment I have some insights on the basic level 1 arrays. Even if it is level 1 arrays, they are very useful. But last night I suddenly thought of something very interesting."

You Xi Wang spoke, "Master, there is a level three array which can detect the moment of the tectonics moments and alarm in case of an earthquake. This array had saved a lot of lives in the last decade's great shift in the west. So I thought, what if, we had an array that can detect the shock-waves emitted by the dark dwellers? In a book, written by Dr. Xabi, the spirit energy expert, the molecules containing energy or any kind of energy inside them are always emitting a very minuscule shock wave. He even proved it by a practical experiment. This gave me the thought that if we could detect the shock-waves emitted by the dark energy inside a person, then we can easily spot the dark dwellers blending in society."

Alester Book felt he has lived his whole life in vain after hearing this. He was aware of this theory of shock-wave emission You Xi Wang just pointed out, but he never thought that it could be applied like this. If this idea of his disciple can be successfully realized, then the advantage the defense forces have over the dark side would completely surpass the previous levels by leaps and bounds. He spoke, "Xiao Wang, do you have any specific thought of making such an array?"

You Xi Wang shook his head and said, "Not yet master, I might start experimenting when my understanding of arrays grow to at least level 3." he sighed at the end.

Alester Book said, "It is fine, you are young and you still have a lot of time. Don't worry, as for now just focus on the battle fest." as a master he was aware of the duty to point his disciple on the correct path. For You Xi Wang, the correct path right now was to focus on the upcoming battle fest. 

You Xi Wang understood this and said, "Master, I still have something. Was my cousin sent to those monks?"

Alester Book nodded and said, "Yes, I delivered him. Don't worry. Also, your cousin provided us with some very vital information. So the council was lenient with the Chen Family."

You Xi Wang nodded and said, "Master, I will take my leave. You please take care."

Alester Book nodded with a smile and the call disconnected. You Xi Wang then called Petra, Emily, and Susan. After chatting for a few minutes, he called You Naixin and asked about everything in the family. When the 0ther side told him that the new arrays have been laid down on the training grounds and everybody is practicing with them, he felt good. After teasing and joking around with each other, the call disconnected. You Xi Wang also called Gerrard to check on the situation of Celestial motors. 

The answer made him very pleased. Gerrard told him that the vehicle has been prepared and tested. It was ready to be announced to the world. You Xi Wang called Minerva(fenny's mother) to check on the progress of the virtual reality helmet. The project was undergoing the final testing and according to Minerva, if the tests come out satisfactory then they can start mass production tomorrow. 

You Xi Wang walked out of the room with a bright smile on his face. He knew that after another fifteen days, it will be the battle fest so he wanted to go back and get these things done ASAP. The field was all set. All he had to do now is watch from the sidelines.
