Chapter 158: The Past and The Future

After the calls were done, You Xi Wang accompanied his grandparents and aunt to have a hearty meal with the family he also broke the news that he needs to leave while the team can stay here to train. His grandparents asked him what was the hurry and You Xi Wang broke the news that the Tianlong group is about to introduce two products and he needs to be there to oversee the final proceedings. You Zhichi proposed to go back with him but You Xi Wang asked her to take some time off and relax while staying here with the grandparents for a week more. 

He also asked the team members if they wanted to leave or to stay here to train for longer. Unexpectedly, the team members all stayed here and train for one more week and they will return with You Zhichi before the battle fest begins. You Xi Wang called Adonis and told him the situation. The latter told him to wait while he discussed the matter with the school officials. You Xi Wang then took the kids to the ice pond near the family. 

The pond was naturally frozen by the climate. This area was under the Chen Family jurisdiction. Some elders would come here to practice their skills once in a while. Those seniors in the family liked nature to be raw, so this place was left untouched. In the past, Chen Limao used to take You Xi Wang and his sister here and they would both make snowmen and ice fairies. They would sometimes fight with snowballs. Chen Qianbei, the famous ice block, would also join and play with the kids. It has become her habit to come here in the past and reminisce about the old days ever since her sister passed away. 

It is not known to many people, but once Chen Qianbei suffered from a backlash in her cultivation. Chen Limao saw her younger sister hurt and set out to find an elixir called The rejuvenation wood sap. This elixir was just like sap and was found in the caves in the tropical forests of the evergreen sector. These tropical forests were the definition of how deceiving nature can be. Chen Limao could not leave home by her parents, but for the sake of her sister she ran out. Two guards followed her in secret. Chen Limao traveled for a month and when she could finally collect the elixir, she was attacked by a group of dark dwellers. Her guards sacrificed them for her.

She was injured and was saved by You Liangxin, who was forced by his family to go out and gain experience in martial arts rather than spending time in the lab. The couple got acquainted and after a life and death situation and also fell in love after a month of travel. The injury Chen Limao suffered left permanent damage in her body, which limited her potential. Chen Qianbei has always blamed her for the situation, but Chen Limao always said, "BeiBei, would you not do the same for me? Calm down, we are sisters. It's okay, and I did not want to be strong." this statement could have been a lie before Chen Limao met You Liangxin.

On the Ice rink, Celestia was gliding on the frozen pond slowly while holding onto Lily's hand. The two girls had developed a very close bond. You Xi Wang, who was teaching Jojo how to skate, saw this and the corner of his lips raised. Jojo followed You Xi Wang's instruction and soon learned basic skating. The latter was about to skate himself but was hit by a snowball on the back of his head. 

You Xi Wang turned around and found his aunt smiling at him. He spoke in an aggrieved manner, "Aunt Bei, this is not fair. You always sneak up. Fight fair and square with me." his words made Chen Qianbei smile. She waved her hand and formed dozens of snowballs. She spoke in a teasing manner that was not eat heard by the outsiders, "Gougou, let auntie make you a snowman." with that she flicked her hand and the snowballs flew through the void.

You Xi Wang did not want to become a snowman and ran. This was what Chen Qianbei would always do with him. She would make 'him' a snowman. You Xi Wang glided on the ice rink while dodging the snowballs. Celestia thought of something and recorded the video of aunty and nephew running and chasing. This video was just a memory and not for showing outsiders. Lily also made a small ball of ice and crept up behind Jojo, who was laughing at the scene. 

Lily pulled the back of Jojo's coat and dropped the snowball inside it. Jojo suddenly sensed something cold slipping down along his back, and he did the 'dance'. Celestia had already started recording another video of Jojo and Lily. The girls laughed as Jojo 'danced' the three then fought with snowballs. After fifteen minutes when they were tired they spotted a snowman in the center of the ice rink and Chen Qianbei was wrapping a scarf around its head with her back facing the kids. 

Celestia glided to her, and then she started laughing wildly. Lily and Jojo followed her, and their reaction was the same. The snowman was none other than You Xi Wang. They were lost in their snowball fight and did not know when Chen Qianbei made You Xi Wang a snowman. Only his head was revealed and the rest of the body was covered in snow. You Xi Wang carried a despondent look at this moment. 

Chen Qianbei said, "Gougou, smile, please. We will take a picture and aunt will post it on her Metro frame account." with that said she asked the three children to come and stand next to the snowman while she stood next to the snowman with her arm coiled around his neck. The picture was clicked and posted in a blink of an eye.

Celestia spoke, "Auntie Bei, can I also have this picture? I want to post it on my Metro Frame as well."

Chen Qianbei nodded with a smile and shared the picture. This thing did not stop here. They called You Zhichi, Yuki, Mu Qingling to the ice rink and let them take a picture with You Xi Wang or the snowman. Mu Qingling made a pair of bunny ears over You Xi Wang's head before taking a picture while she had a moon placed over her head. After embarrassing for an hour, You Xi Wang was spared. He spent the rest of the time skating or playing with his family. 

At night the scenery was exquisite. You Xi Wang always wanted to visit Alaska and watch the aurora lights in his last life but never got a chance. Today that wish of his was completed. Frost City also had Aurora lights at night. The group of people spent the night around the bonfire. Lily stayed to learn some more knowledge from Mu Qingling. Jojo was a book worm, and he liked the library here, so he also stayed. Celestia wanted to stay as well, but You Xi Wang asked her to come back with him as he needed her help in something. 

In the morning, after a good breakfast. You Xi Wang, Maya, and Celestia stood at the pier. Behind them stood You Zhichi, Yuki, Mu Qingling, Chen Qianbei, the elders of the Chen Family, and the battle team members. You Xi Wang turned back as he held Celestia in his arms and they both waved at the people. The airship hatch opened and You Xi Wang entered. The airship took off after the hatch closed.

In the evening, You Xi Wang reached home. After telling the elders and You Fengxian about the situation of You Zhichi and the kids staying behind to learn a little more, he left home to the site where Celestial Motors was located. You Xi Wang also called over Gerrard and Andrew to meet him there. It was evening, so You Xi Wang asked Robert to drive him. He also messaged Petra and asked if she would like to meet him. The reply was affirmative, and it lit up his spirit. The factory plant of Celestial Motors was further from his residence, so it took them a couple of hours to reach. 

You Xi Wang reached and saw Gerrard and Andrew were already there. Along with the two, there were three more people whom You Xi Wang did not recognize. He disembarked the vehicle and came over to Gerrard. 

Gerrard spoke, "You are here, boss." his tone was respectful and calm. 

You Xi Wang spoke, "Sorry to make you wait, uncle Gerrard. This place is further from my home."

Gerrard spoke with a smile, "It is okay, Young Master. I have just arrived."

You Xi Wang nodded with a smile on his face. Gerrard gestured toward the three unfamiliar faces and made the introductions, "Young Master, these gentlemen are the chief technicians of the company and they are the ones who made the vehicle according to your drawings."

You Xi Wang's identity was already known to these people. They all greeted him one by one and You Xi Wang was then led inside the plant. They introduced him to the machinery and the assembly area of the factory. The three people noticed the happy and content expression on his face, and they all took a breath of relief. 

You Xi Wang spoke, "I want to see the vehicle I asked for."

Andrews took the lead this time and took the group to a room only accessible to the upper echelon of the company. The group entered, and the lights turned on automatically. In the center of the room stood a vehicle covered with a black cloth.

You Xi Wang walked over before anyone else could and eagerly pulled the cloth off of the vehicle. A white vehicle came into the sights of the group. You Xi Wang grinned and said, "You guys have done a good job." as he swept his hand over the lines and the edges of the vehicle. He drew this car from his memory. He had driven this car in his past life only once and fell in love with it. The others saw his actions and thought that he was inspecting the surface. 

Gerrard spoke, "Young Master, what do we call this vehicle?"

You Xi Wang said, "Countach."
