Chapter 162: Driving With Style.

You Xi Wang felt good after abusing the system. Then he asked the system after calming down, 'I just want to ask you. Can you really possess me on a whim?'

You Xi Wang messed up with her a bit as the two of them ate. Then they both walked up to the shoe locker to wear the shoes and depart for work. 

Petra was going to drop You Xi Wang off at the Celestial Motors manufacturing plant. Today You xi Wang was going to drive the new Countach they have produced in front of the press. The couple boarded the vehicle and Petra drove them off to the destination. 

You Xi Wang dialed Gerrard using his Holo-phone. The call connected, and he spoke, "Good morning, Uncle Gerrard."

Gerrard replied, "Good morning, Young Master."

You Xi Wang nodded and said, "I thought about the sales of the vehicle. We are going to sell them directly. No agencies and no distributions. Exclusive showrooms in the nearby cities, we will expand with the success rate and also, set up an official web page for the people where we do not sell. Also, contact some e-gamers. Pay them some credits to broadcast the vehicle test drive live in front of their fans. The better exposure, the better the money. The same policy will be applied on the forums related to Mag-levs. Pay them for advertisement. Broadcast the presentation live on all the platforms."

Gerrard on the other side of the call froze for a little. He never imagined marketing could be done in this way. It was as if a new world opened up to him. He nodded and jotted down all the things and points You Xi Wang had just spoken. He did not even disconnect the call and issued rapid instructions to his subordinates. The whole marketing department of the Tianlong Group spurred into action. They all were surprised and enlightened after they all received the instructions from Gerrard. Petra was the one who designed the program and also rectified the minor flaws in the vehicle's design. The vehicle was not completely a replica of the one on the earth. Petra had made the design a little curved and optimized it according to the futuristic design. 

Emily and Robert were already waiting for the two of them. Emily came forward and greeted Petra with a hug and a smile on her face. She said to You Xi Wang, "Young Master, Granny Naixin passed a message. The shadows are ready to reap the fruits." her tone was solemn. You Xi Wang obviously understood what it meant, and he only nodded. He said, 'We will deal with it after the event is wrapped up."

Emily handed him a formal attire from her space ring. You Xi Wang kept it all in his space ring he said, "I am going to warm-up the vehicle. Ask the media people to use the drone cams to record the performance drive. They can all wait in for the presentation to begin after the drive."

Petra nodded. She would pass this all to Gerrard when he arrives here. Think of the devil and the devil is here. You Xi Wang went inside the service stop where the vehicle was stored and Gerrard arrived with Andrew and behind them, a lot of media could be seen. Petra walked over and whispered the instructions left behind by You Xi Wang. Gerrard nodded and asked the media people to follow the arrangements. He arranged for one of the company employees present at the venue to control a drone cam, and they relay the broadcast to the contracted E-sport players and automobile forums.

Inside the vehicle You Xi Wang sat with his eyes closed, waiting for the signal and drive the vehicle out. The Holo-phone on his wrist rang. He accepted the call and Petra's voice came out, "It's all set, Xi Wang."

You Xi Wang nodded and silently disconnected the call. He pressed up the ignition switch, and the vehicle started with a vroom. He pressed down on the accelerator and the vehicle moved to the starting lane. The reporters all saw the vehicle with a surprised expression. The surprise then changed into excitement. The reporters started talking within themselves.

"Anna, how can a vehicle look so slick? This is good." a middle-aged otaku-looking reporter spoke.

Anna was a blonde reporter who was renowned throughout the Metropia. She was a researcher on vehicle trends in a Metronet channel called, 'Horsepower.' this channel was particularly focused on many vehicles all around the planet. She was the face of this channel. When Gerrard contacted her for today's event. She asked why she should come over to the event. Only when Gerrard told her repeatedly that this event will be worth her time and it will start a change in the vehicle trend of Metropia. He also left the choice of whether or not to attend the event on her.

Anna also stood stunned when she saw the vehicle. She did not expect the vehicle to look this spectacular. This was something that broke the norms. She replied to the otaku beside her, "Jeremy, this is going to be a shocking chain of events. This vehicle is something people would crave for. I want pictures from all angles. Every inch of this vehicle must be on my table tomorrow. Do you get it?"
