Elspeth’s coven is mortified—not just by her terrible curse, but by the fact Dex refuses to turn back. Things get worse when sinister influencer Vesper Vale tries to exploit Dex’s newfound magical power for a dark ritual at an occult gala. Now, Elspeth and Dex must team up to stop Vesper, despite her Wi-Fi-allergic magic, Dex’s unrelenting frog enthusiasm, and the meddling of her sarcastic raccoon familiar, who may or may not be managing Dex’s social media career.
As they bumble through mishaps and near-disasters, their mutual annoyance turns into something… unexpected. But breaking the curse will take more than magic—it’ll require Dex to apologize (ugh) and Elspeth to admit he’s kind of charming (double ugh).
