Chapter 149: The Attack Team's Arrival!

Chapter 149: The Attack Team's Arrival!

The Black Dragon roared, disrupting the calm breeze of wind in the shore and the plain. Everyone trembled in fear and froze in place as they stare toward the Legendary Beast in the sky. Well... Except for the Treants--who knew that it was Pedro, and Paul Solares--who noticed the lax behavior of the Treants to the unidentified creature.

Ryu-san and the two men with him halted in their retreat. They climb the trees and glanced in the direction of the three ships--where the Black Dragon was heading. Unfortunately, they were too far from the ships to see how the reaction on their enemy's faces. Thus, Ryu-san could only flick his tongue in response and hopped down the tree.

"Let's go! Those ships are probably done! We must leave this area before that monster starts targeting us!"

The two men with him smirked as they hopped down and followed behind Ryu-san. They thought the same thing as Ryu-san did. The three ships and the people on its side are good as dead. It was not because they knew how powerful the Dragon was in the game, but because they knew that Dragons were mythical or Legendary creatures in stories back on Earth. Thus, most of the time, Dragons were set as Boss entities on games that require raid parties consisting of players at the maximum level that was set by a particular game.

Whether it was the case or not, they still can't risk the possibility of being casualties just because they wanted to observe the battle from afar. After all, they were several times stronger than the average player. It would only be a waste if they would become cannon fodder.

At this moment, Pedro circled into the sea rather than going straight towards the three ships. Naturally, Sabrina and Arvedar followed behind him as they glide meters above the sea.

'Amazing!' Pedro chuckled deep inside.

Contrary to the delight that Pedro was feeling, Lony, Roval, Talia, Mathew, and Yojiro looked pale. Their hands tightly grabbed on Pedro's spikey scales, while their faces were forced shut--with their cheeks bloated as if it was filled with steamed buns.

When they were tens of meters away from the ships, Pedro smirked as he glanced towards his back. Everyone aboard his back could only stare towards his eyes--knowing that he is up to something 'bad'.

Unfortunately, they were right. In the next second, Pedro dove a tad bit lower--seemingly taking a charge, before flying up to rotating 380 degrees vertically and drop everyone on his back into the sea.

"Aaaaaah!" Lony, Roval, and Talia shouted as they fall into the sea with a 'Plop' sound--indicating the impact after falling flat into the water.

On the other hand, Yojiro and Mathew were able to capitalize that split second to prepare themselves for a proper dive. They used the momentum of their fall to give them a 'push' into the water with their hands piercing first into its surface.

They pierced a meter deep into the sea before curving upwards making them swim towards the shore near the ships. Pedro followed behind them, transforming into his humanoid form and diving into the sea.

Unlike Sabrina and Arvedar, his Black Dragon Form was larger giving him difficulty to land near the ships. At the same time, he did not want to create a cloud of dust. Hence, he did not choose to land on the sandy shore.

As Pedro pierced into the water--like a professional diver, Sabrina and Arvedar flew past him, and soon, past the three ships before they soar again into the sky. Those on the deck and the CBCR of the three ships watched in amazement as the giant eagle flew above them.

Beatrice, Yuson, and the rest of the support team--who were on the shore, also watched in amazement as their eyes followed the figures of the two birds that flew past them. That said, Beatrice maintained the release of flame on her hair, hand, and sword to welcome the six people swimming towards them.

"Kwiiiiyak!" Sabrina howled as Pedro, Mathew, Yojiro, Talia, Lony, and Roval arrives at the shore.

At the same time, Pedro shook his head and combed his hair upward to remove the water dripping on his face. Fortunately, he had his black scales covering his whole body--except the front, the sides, and the top of his head, allowing the heat exerted by Beatrice to dry the water dripping on the other parts of his body.

As they walked towards Beatrice and the support team, Arvedar, then Sabrina, circled around and landed behind them as they transform back into their human form. Other than Lony, Roval, and Talia, the rest of the Attack Team wore a cold and dead serious look, emanating an authoritative and, at the same time, scary vibes.

"What are you staring at?" Pedro asked, coldly. "Go aid the Treants! We need to teach those humans a lesson."

"But--" Beatrice was about to object, but she suddenly was at loss for words as Pedro stared at her in the eyes--sending shivers run down her spine.

"That's an order!" Pedro said as he walked pass through Beatrice. Then, he glanced towards Paul and said, "Paul! I'll leave the ships in your care. Leave some men with you, enough to protect the three ships!"

Pedro did not wait for his response and gazed towards the Treants--who stood around their frozen comrade. "As for the rest... Follow me! We will give these bloodthirsty humans, a taste of their own medicine!"

Pedro walked forward with the Attack Team behind. The Support Team and the Naval Team could only stare towards them--still trying to process the things that Pedro said. But before they could get back to theirselves, Pedro halted--standing right in front of Karakoa, and shouted to the plains.

"To all my men! Hear my words, obey my commands! We represent humanity, their front runner on this land! Those who dare abuse the weak, or kill their fellow man shall be brougth upon to hammers of justice in our hands! Do not fear! Do not falter! For we are... the warriors of this land! GLORY TO KARAKOA!"

Pedro transformed back into his Dragon Form and launched into the sky. Sabrina released all of her pen-knives--that were starting to levitate like Pedro's pen-knife. Then, she followed Pedro and transformed into her Eagle Form.

"ROOOAR!" Pedro cried, in which Sabrina followed with her cry.

"KWIIIIYAK!"

On the other hand, Arvedar walked past Lony and Roval--patting their shoulders, and smirked towards them before he transformed into his crow form and followed Pedro and Sabrina. This made Lony and Roval complain in response.

"Oi! Arvee! Don't leave us!"

In the next second, Lony and Roval ran in an attempt to chase after their friend, Arvedar. This made Yojiro glance towards Mathew and Talia in response. Knowing that the two siblings had their own weird transformation, Yojiro could only shake his head and force out a smile as he followed behind Lony and Roval as if they were the new pair he needed to baby sit.

Yojiro flicked his tongue and said, "Since when did I become the guardian of these two troublesome men?"

Mathew and Talia could only chuckle in response, remembering how Yojiro assisted them when they were fighting, seemingly, unlimited number of mountain wolves just a few hours back. That said, they did not wait for Pedro or the other members of the Attack Team to give them another invitation to charge forward and follow Pedro's lead.

The two siblings transformed into their respective forms, surprising everyone from the Support Team and the Naval Team. One turned into a giant, freaking, chicken, while the other one suddenly vanished into thin air.

Mathew and Talia seemed hilarious. But before anyone from the Naval Team or the Support Team could chuckle, millions of both red and black ants rose from the ground--making the ground colored red and black.

And before they could completely resurface, the Chicken hopped into the air--almost as high as ten stacked Karakoa ship. And when it landed a hundred meters from where it jumped, the chicken sank a few meters deep into the ground while causing tremors that was strong enough to make everyone grab, tightly, into something in order to remain on their feet.

This made Mathew smirk. He knew that the other players from the Support Team and the NPCs from Pedro's fleet would mock him since Pedro, Sabrina, and Arvedar's transformation were better birds or flying beasts compared to his chicken form. That said, Elder Treant Tan--who was watching the situation of the Frozen Treant closely, glanced towards him, emanating a strong murderous intent that was enough to wipe the smug on his face, and strong enough to caught the attention of Pedro.

"Stop!" Elder Treant cried. He stared at Mathew for a few more seconds before returning his attention their frozen comrade.

Pedro, in turn, glanced towards Mathew and nodded towards him in response. Mathew repciprocated with a nod before running instead of doing a hop. They both knew what Elder Treant Tan meant. Their friend was frozen and is in a delicate state. If Mathew kept hopping and sending tremors into the ground, there was a possibility that the shakes could cause the breaking of the ice--consequently risking the possibility of splitting their friend with it.

Thus, Mathew could only run like a chicken on the loose. While Pedro headed to Elder Treant Tan and the other Treants to assess their situation. The Black Dragon carefully landed into the ground and, afterwards, Pedro transformed back to his humanoid form.

He walked towards Elder Treant Tan and asked, coldly, "What's the situation?"
